Mental health affects every part of our lives, and with the right support, people can navigate event the toughest times.

Mental Health UK works at home, in schools, and in workplaces across the UK helping people build the tools and condience to navigate life's challenges.

If you're able to support me, I'd really appreciate it. Your donation will help more people get the support they need, when they need it most.

Thank you!

Mens mental health

Sunday 12th Apr
I haven’t really spoken much about my mental health before, but I’ve been struggling for around eight years now with anxiety and emotional ups and downs.

My past relationship had a huge impact on me. My ex-partner was not kind—she would laugh at me, ridicule me in front of friends and family, and was physically abusive. Somehow, she managed to convince others that I was the problem. After she left, she repeatedly made false accusations against me, leading to multiple arrests for things like harassment. Eventually, the truth came out, and she was convicted of perjury.

The shame and humiliation I experienced during that time have had a lasting effect, and I’m still working through it all. It’s been a long road trying to rebuild myself.

At the same time, I’ve been supporting a young girl who has also experienced abuse from her mother and her partner, helping her find herself again. That’s a story in itself.

I’m trying to turn everything I’ve been through into something positive—for my own healing, and to help others. I just hope people can support me in doing that.

Thank you to my Sponsors

Good luck. Walking is a great help for mental health especially if you have a dog. You meet a lot of people while out walking with them.
