I'm taking on 31 Miles this May for Mental Health UK

This May, I'm taking on 31 miles to support Mental Health UK.

Mental health affects every part of our lives, and with the right support, people can navigate event the toughest times.

Mental Health UK works at home, in schools, and in workplaces across the UK helping people build the tools and condience to navigate life's challenges.

If you're able to support me, I'd really appreciate it. Your donation will help more people get the support they need, when they need it most.

Thank you!

My Updates

End of my challenge

Sunday 31st May
I gave myself a challenge of 31 miles in May for mental health and it’s now come to an end and in total I walked 93.28 miles in May and that was just doing normal life. Whilst I’ll never accept the loss of my beloved Tina I’m starting to enjoy life again and my mental health and general health are a lot better. It’s been a long journey and I still have a way to go but I’m getting back to being me. It’s ok to not be ok!
I just want to say a massive big thank you to those that have supported me and are there for me and to those wonderful ones of you that have donated. If we can help just one person that’s all that matters.

Why I’m doing this challenge

Saturday 18th Apr
I’m going to take on this challenge in May because as some of my closest know I’ve been really struggling physically, emotionally and mentally since losing my beloved wine buddy/cousin/best friend Tina and being in hospital poorly as really broke me and it’s been a very long journey getting through it all. I’ve been supported by my closest people and with the help of Vita Minds within the NHS which has really helped with my mental health which knocked me to my knees, and I feel I’d like to give something back now I’m getting back to my old self. Mental Health affects us all at some point in our lives and it takes a lot to reach out. It’s ok to not be ok! We may look ok on the outside but it’s what’s on the inside. If you’d like to support me too by helping rid the stigma of mental health any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading. X
