I'm taking on 31 Miles this May for Mental Health UK

This May, I’m taking on the 31 Miles in 31 Days challenge for mental health.

For me, this isn’t just about walking — it’s about showing up for myself on the days when it’s hard, getting outside when my head feels heavy, and proving that even small steps count. Mental health isn’t something you “fix” overnight, and I’ve learned that progress can look as simple as putting one foot in front of the other.

Some days these miles will feel easy. Other days, they won’t. But that’s kind of the point — to keep going anyway.

I’m doing this for anyone who’s ever struggled in silence, for the people still fighting battles no one else can see, and as a reminder that we’re not alone in it.

If you see me out walking, just know there’s a bit more behind it than steps — there’s purpose in every mile.

My Updates

Hi!

Monday 20th Apr

I’m someone who knows that mental health isn’t just something you hear about — it’s something you live through. Like a lot of people, I’ve had my own battles, the kind that don’t always show on the outside but can feel overwhelming on the inside. Some days are about getting through, others are about finding small wins, and I’ve learned how important it is to keep going even when it’s hard.

This fundraiser and my 31-mile walk in May mean more to me than just a challenge. It’s a way of turning those difficult experiences into something positive — to raise awareness, to support others who might be struggling, and to remind people that they’re not alone in how they feel.

Outside of this, I’m just trying to build a better, healthier life step by step. This journey isn’t perfect, but it’s real — and if sharing it helps even one person feel seen or supported, then it’s worth it.
