This May, I'm taking on 31 miles to support Mental Health UK.
Mental health affects every part of our lives, and with the right support, people can navigate event the toughest times.
Mental Health UK works at home, in schools, and in workplaces across the UK helping people build the tools and condience to navigate life's challenges.

5 miles
Friday 1st MayMy first five miles were some of the hardest I’ve ever done not just physically, but emotionally.
while grieving my son isn’t easy. Every step carries memories, and sometimes the weight of that grief feels heavier than the miles themselves. There were moments I wanted to stop, not because my body couldn’t go on, but because my heart felt too heavy.
But I kept going.
I’m doing this for him, to honour his memory and keep moving forward, even on the toughest days. And I’m also doing it to support Mental Health UK, which makes every mile feel like it has purpose beyond my own journey.
It’s still hard. It probably always will be. But finishing those five miles gave me something I didn’t expect a quiet sense of strength, and even a bit of pride.
