On 10 October, I’ll be lighting up London as part of GLOW – a vibrant sponsored walk shining a light on mental health. I’m proud to be supporting Mental Health UK, a charity that provides life-changing support to people across the UK affected by mental health challenges.
With your help, we can turn London’s iconic streets into a celebration of hope, strength, and solidarity. Every donation powers vital services, helplines, and resources — helping to ensure no one faces a mental health problem alone.

A tiny step
Tuesday 6th OctA tiny step, full of self-doubt,
Slow and unsure,
Not knowing how I’ll move forward.
Another step, encouraged by praise,
Trying hard to keep going.

Pushing myself beyond what I thought I could do.

yet they carry so much

and a sadness touched with happiness.

Being your Mum

I was so lucky to be given you as my son.
To watch you grow,
To learn from you,
To love you through every part of your journey.
You brought me so much joy,
And sometimes a little sadness—

But because I knew when you were hurting.
