31 Miles this May for Mental Health UK
This May, I’m taking on a challenge that feels both small and incredibly meaningful: walking 31 miles for mental health 💚
As a mum of four and a secondary school teacher, life is… full. Loud, busy, rewarding, exhausting — sometimes all at once. Between packed lunches, lesson plans, and trying to be everything to everyone, it’s easy to forget to pause and take care of my own mind.
So this month, I’m choosing to do something simple: walk. A mile a day. Time to breathe, to think, to reset.
Mental health matters — not just in the big moments, but in the quiet, everyday ones too. The walks might be short, but the intention behind them feels important. It’s about showing up for myself, and hopefully helping raise awareness and support for others who might be struggling.
If you see me out and about getting my steps in, give me a wave 👋 And if you’re able to support or share, it would mean the world.
Here’s to small steps, fresh air, and looking after our minds — one mile at a time 💚
