Why am I raising money for Mental Health UK

A little about me 💚

I’m a London-based hospitality manager and hypnotherapy and psychotherapy student, training to turn my passion for helping people into a career supporting others through life’s challenges.

I believe that behind every person is a story, and that nobody should have to struggle alone or feel ashamed of asking for help. My ambition is to build a practice where compassion, understanding and lived experience help people feel heard, accepted and empowered — particularly those who may feel misunderstood or overlooked.

On 3 December, I’ll be joining fellow students for Mental Health UK’s GLOW Winter Walk in London. We’re training to support others through some of life’s hardest moments, so raising money for a cause we believe in feels like a small but meaningful way to put those values into action.

Every donation helps Mental Health UK continue its vital work, reaching people who need support and reminding them that they are not alone.
