Mental health is something we think about every day, not just for ourselves, but for the amazing young people we support on a daily basis. Many of the young people we care for often face anxiety, sensory overload, and other emotional challenges. Despite everything they’re up against, they show us so much strength and resilience, and we learn from them daily.
That’s why we are walking 20km through Battersea, to raise awareness around mental health and show support for the young people we care about so much. We’re doing it as a team, because we know how important it is to look out for each other, especially in this kind of work.
This walk is personal for us. It’s a way to shine a light on mental health, celebrate the small wins, and keep pushing for a world where everyone, especially our young people feels seen, supported, and understood.
