I'm taking on 31 Miles this May for Mental Health UK

This May, I'm taking on 31 miles in 31 days to support Mental Health UK.
Mental health affects every part of our lives, and with the right support, people can navigate through even the toughest of times.
Mental Health UK works at home, in schools, and in workplaces across the UK helping people build the tools and confidence to navigate life's challenges.
If you're able to support me, I'd really appreciate it. Your donation will help more people get the support they need, when they need it most.

I have personally suffered with mental health for many years now and also have people close to me going through the same. I don’t think mental health is spoken about enough, too many people struggle behind closed doors through fear of judgement, or other reasons. It is nothing to be ashamed of, and for that reason I would like to raise awareness and encourage anyone who is struggling right now, reach out to a family member, a friend, a professional, anyone, because you matter!

Any donation no matter how small is a massive help to support Mental health UK

Thank you!

31 Miles in 31 Days - Walking for Mental Health UK

Tuesday 7th Apr

This May, I’m taking on a personal challenge - walking 31 miles in 31 days to raise money for Mental Health UK - a cause that means more to me than I can easily put into words. Mental health has been part of my life for many years. Like so many people, I’ve experienced struggles that aren’t always visible on the outside. Some days have felt heavier than others, and there have been times when simply getting through the day felt like an achievement in itself. Along the way, I’ve also watched people close to me face their own battles with mental health, and that has only deepened my understanding of how important support, compassion, and access to help really are.

Mental health challenges don’t always look the way people expect. They can exist behind smiles, busy schedules, and everyday conversations. And while awareness has grown, so many people are still struggling silently, unsure where to turn or how to ask for help.

That’s why I’m doing this challenge.

Walking 31 miles might not sound enormous to some, but for me it represents consistency, commitment, and showing up every single day, even when motivation is low or life feels overwhelming. Each mile is a reminder that progress doesn’t have to be huge to matter. Small steps, taken regularly, can lead to real change.

Mental Health UK works to provide vital support, advice, and resources to people across the country who are facing mental health challenges. The funds raised help ensure that people don’t have to face their struggles alone, that someone is there to listen, support, and guide them toward hope.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small the amount, you’ll be helping make that support possible for someone who truly needs it. And if donating isn’t possible right now, sharing this page or simply offering encouragement means just as much.

This challenge isn’t just about miles walked, it’s about starting conversations, reducing stigma, and reminding people that they are not alone.

Thank you for reading, for supporting, and for helping turn steps into something meaningful.
