London Landmarks Half Marathon for Mental Health UK
This year, I’m taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon, not just as a personal challenge, but to honor the memory of Daniel . I'm running in his memory and to raise awareness for a cause that is incredibly close to my heart: mental health.
Earlier this year, Daniel tragically passed away from suicide. The pain and heartbreak that followed his passing has left a lasting impact on his family and everyone who knew him. Daniel was loved by so many, and his loss is felt every single day.
In his memory, I’ve decided to run this half marathon to support Mental Health UK. This charity does vital work to provide support, information, and guidance to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges. They believe in the power of conversation, awareness, and proper care — all of which can make a world of difference for someone who is struggling.
Mental health challenges can often feel invisible, and we can never truly know what someone is going through. This is why raising awareness and breaking down the stigma is so important. I’m running not just for Daniel, but for everyone who has ever struggled in silence, felt like they didn’t have a way out, or feared reaching out for help. We need to remind people that it’s okay to ask for help, that they don’t have to face their battles alone, and that there is always hope.
This one's for you, Daniel. ❤️
Thank you for your support. Together, we can make a difference.
