I'm taking on 31 Miles this May for Mental Health UK

This May, I'm taking on 31 miles to support Mental Health UK.

Mental health affects every part of our lives, and with the right support, people can navigate event the toughest times.

Mental Health UK works at home, in schools, and in workplaces across the UK helping people build the tools and condience to navigate life's challenges.

If you're able to support me, I'd really appreciate it. Your donation will help more people get the support they need, when they need it most.

Thank you!

My battle

Thursday 23rd Apr
From looking at this you wouldn't think she is battling with mental health, you would think she is happy as you have never seen her in any other way.....
She battles with it everyday and night, but you wouldn't know as you can't see behind the mask she puts on every morning.
She puts on a mask to hide the weakness and the struggle.
It's hard to get up every day, it's a struggle to just eat food, laying in bed is the only thing she knows that's her comfort spot.
She smiles just to stop people from asking the same question over and over again. She goes home after a ruff night of being in crowded and being the odd one out, when she goes out as no one looks or talk to her, and she thinks it because they can see weakness in her eyes. When she gets home it's the same old tablets that was meant to make her feel better but it just doesn't seam to work, she looks out the window and thinks it would be so easy to just use the window as a way out. But she don't she sits in her room and crys herself to sleep. Going out is a struggle as it's the people she doesn't know and all that is going through her head is how can I make it easy for myself....
All this stuff you don't see behind closed doors, yet when we ask for help most of the time people say ow you get over it and leave.
people might think you're coping really well but that's just the face you put on to make everyone think you're OK, as you don't want to make your problems anything they need to worry about...
All you people saying the door is open if you need to talk I'm always here for you, most of the them who don't show they care, you try and tell them and they just make it about them...
People I found that help are the ones who know what you are going through, and of course families try their hardest to understand as they have never seen it before..
Mentel health is a constant battle with yourself and everyone around you, it's not something to be taken as a joke. It's hard to live with and it's even harder for the people around you.. 💚💚💚💚
