GLOW London 2026

GLOW up London with Mental Health UK

On 11 October, I’ll be lighting up London as part of GLOW – a vibrant sponsored walk shining a light on mental health. I’m proud to be supporting Mental Health UK, a charity that provides life-changing support to people across the UK affected by mental health challenges.

With your help, we can turn London’s iconic streets into a celebration of hope, strength, and solidarity. Every donation powers vital services, helplines, and resources — helping to ensure no one faces a mental health problem alone.

Let’s light the way toward a future where mental health is valued and supported. Please donate if you can — and thank you for being part of the movement.

My story

Monday 14th Sep
As you may or may not know, I was diagnosed with severe depression and social anxiety a few years ago. Since then I have been on medication and had therapy a few times. Thankfully the depression is mostly gone and the social anxiety is mainly under control. But during those early year I had attempted suicide at least 3 times and thought about it numerous times. I have been lucky to have friends and family for support but not everyone does. Suicide is currently at a high risk cause of death more so among men then woman. Men need to feel that they can talk about their feelings and that it doesn't make them any less a man and that we need to end the stigma. This is why for the second time I am taking on the Glow walk.
