GLOW Birmingham 2025

GLOW-ing Bright in Birmingham for Mental Health UK

On 27 September, I’ll be joining GLOW Birmingham — an uplifting, illuminated walk around Edgbaston Reservoir — to raise funds for Mental Health UK.

Your support will help bring vital mental health services to life across the country. Mental Health UK supports people facing anxiety, depression, isolation, and more — and your donation will help create a brighter, kinder world for everyone.

Let’s come together in Birmingham to shine a light on mental health and make a real difference. Please donate and help!

Overwhelmed by the generosity

Wednesday 1st Oct
May we please pass on our sincere thanks to each and every one of you for your kind durations.

A couple of hurty legs and infected toenails later and it's done. We're so proud and grateful to have supported this charity.

If you haven't donated, the opportunity is still there but there's no obligation of course.

Right, where's the foot spa.

Hurty legs

Did my 90th parkrun this morning. A bit of a tough one as I'd not slept well last night. Next week we're doing another one before we do the 20km walk. I have a feeling that many parts will hurt.

All up for this next weekend, which after a morning parkrun I think we may have some throbby feet. Oh well, totally worth it.

Are we mad?

Wednesday 20th Aug
Probably but it keeps us healthy and supports many others.

Thank you to my Sponsors

Very, very well done. Was genuinely waiting til after payday and holiday, rather than doubting you. I never doubted you (for this, and this alone)
