I'm taking on 31 Miles this May for Mental Health UK

This May, I'm taking on 31 miles to support Mental Health UK.

Mental health affects every part of our lives, and with the right support, people can navigate event the toughest times.

Mental Health UK works at home, in schools, and in workplaces across the UK helping people build the tools and condience to navigate life's challenges.

As most of you know Ive suffered with anxiety/depression for roughly 17 years now, my mental health has spiralled downhill over the years due to never getting over losing my grandad in 2009. It has also been triggered more by my weight gain over the past 10 years due to giving up on myself.

Mental health isn’t just physical is mentally draining drowning in your own thoughts 24/7 struggling to find a way out when times are hard.

I lost contact with a good friend few years ago only then to find out in 2024 he had taken his own life due to his mental health. I wish i had kept in contact with him then I could been there and helped him through his struggles but in the end it was too late.

My mental health stops me from doing alot of things like leaving the house, going to family gatherings, using public transport and taking my kids places also doing things I used to enjoy the list goes on.

So now it’s time to try and do something that’s out of my comfort zone not just for me but for all the sufferers out there and take on this challenge to help raise money for mental health uk.

If you're able to support me, I'd really appreciate it. Your donation will help more people get the support they need, when they need it most.

Thank you!
