Monday 3rd AugTurning 30 has made me realise just how much more I want to do with the time I have.
If you know me, you know it’s been a wild ride, with plenty of highs, lows, and battles with my own demons along the way. Those experiences have shaped who I am and given me a much deeper appreciation for the importance of looking after our mental health. That’s why I’m taking on this 20k night walk in October, this cause means so so much to me, and I know it means just as much to so many people I care about.
Through my career, I’ve seen every side of mental health…. the hope, the heartbreak, the resilience, and the reality of what so many people face every day. I’ve also seen the amazing difference that charities like this make, providing support when people need it most.
If I can do something to help raise awareness, start conversations, and give something back, then every step will be worth it.
