London Landmarks Half Marathon for Mental Health UK
In 2017, I took part in the inaugural London Landmark Half Marathon – my very first half marathon. It was an unforgettable experience, made even more meaningful because I was raising money for the NSPCC, a charity that is close to my heart.
Next year marks the 10th anniversary edition of this incredible event, and I'm proud to be taking part once again. This time, I'm running to raise awareness and funds for Mental Health UK.
As a support worker, I see every day how important mental health and wellbeing are. I also see the challenges that so many people face, often behind closed doors. Mental health doesn't discriminate – it can affect anyone, at any stage of life, and almost every family has been touched by it in some way, whether directly or through someone they love.
No one should have to face those challenges alone. Mental Health UK provides vital support, advice, and hope to people when they need it most. By donating, you'll be helping them continue this life-changing work and ensuring more people can access the support they deserve.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a genuine difference. If you're able to support me, I'd be incredibly grateful. Thank you for helping me make every mile count.
Mental Health UK is dedicated to providing essential support and resources to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges. With a focus on collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, they are at the forefront of driving positive change within the mental health landscape.
