London Landmarks Half Marathon for Mental Health UK
Hi, I'm Josh and next year I'll be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Mental Health UK because mental health is something that has had a very real impact on my life.
I’ve experienced my own struggles with mental health. Having been diagnosed with depression, I've been working towards recovery and I know first hand how difficult it can be to ask for help, to feel like things will get better and to keep going when you’re struggling.
That’s why I wanted to take on this challenge and raise money for a cause that means so much to me. Training for and completing the London Landmarks Half Marathon will be difficult, but it will represent more than just a physical challenge. It will be a reminder of how far I’ve come and the strength it has taken to get here, knowing that I’ve got through the hardest days, I can keep going when the race gets tough too.
I hope the money I raise can help support people who are going through their own mental health struggles, whether that’s through access to support, treatment, information or simply knowing that they’re not alone. If sharing my experience can help encourage even one person to talk about how they’re feeling, then it will be worth it.
Thank you for your love and support!
