This May, I'm taking on 31 miles to support Mental Health UK.

As someone who struggles everyday with a mental health disorder, this is close to my heart and i would love to give back, so any donations are appreciated

Mental health affects every part of our lives, and with the right support, people can navigate event the toughest times.

Mental Health UK works at home, in schools, and in workplaces across the UK helping people build the tools and condience to navigate life's challenges.

If you're able to support me, I'd really appreciate it. Your donation will help more people get the support they need, when they need it most.

From Surviving to Giving Back: My Journey with Bipolar

Monday 20th Apr

For a long time, I felt like I was just trying to survive.
Living with bipolar disorder isn’t something you can switch off. It’s unpredictable, intense, and at times completely overwhelming. There were moments where I felt on top of the world — full of energy, ideas, and hope — followed by crashes so deep that even getting out of bed felt impossible.
It wasn’t just difficult… it was exhausting.
There were times I didn’t recognise myself. Times I pushed people away without meaning to, and other times I felt completely alone, even when I wasn’t. Mental health struggles can be invisible to others, but they can take over everything inside.
But things started to change.
Not in a big, dramatic moment — but slowly, over time. I began to understand myself better. I learned that it’s okay to ask for help, that I don’t have to face everything alone, and that healing doesn’t happen in a straight line.
I still have hard days. That hasn’t changed.
But now, I want to do something more than just get through them.
I want to give back.
That’s why I’ve decided to take on the 31 Miles in May challenge in support of Mental Health UK.
For me, this isn’t just about walking or running miles. It’s about turning something painful into something positive. It’s about showing up — for myself, and for others who might be struggling in silence.
Every mile I complete is for the days that felt impossible.
Every step is a reminder that progress, no matter how small, still matters.
And now, I’m asking for your support.
If you can, please consider donating. Every contribution — no matter the size — helps fund vital mental health support and services for people who really need it.
If you’re not able to donate, sharing this means just as much.
Mental health affects so many of us, yet so many people still feel like they have to face it alone. I don’t want that to be the case anymore.
This is me taking a step forward — and I’d love for you to be part of it.
Thank you for reading, for supporting, and for helping make a difference.
