I'm taking on 30 Miles this November for Mental Health UK
This November, I'm taking on 30 Miles in November to raise money for Mental Health UK.I'm walking, running or rolling 30 miles throughout the month to help ensure more people can access the mental health support they need, when they need it most.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help Mental Health UK continue providing vital services, information and support to people across the UK.
If you're able to, I'd be so grateful if you could sponsor me. Your support will help keep me motivated throughout the challenge and make a real difference to people's lives.
Thank you so much for your support!
My Updates
💙 30 Miles in November for Mental Health UK 💙
Thursday 22nd OctI've never taken on a charity fundraiser before. I've raised money for individuals in the past, but this challenge came along and I felt it was time to do something for a cause that really hits home for me. 🩵
I've struggled with my mental health for around 9 years, and at times it's really eaten away at me.
My birth mum also struggled with her mental health throughout her life. Sadly, I only had the chance to meet her twice before she passed away last year, making this cause even more personal to me. 💙
Mental health struggles can be incredibly lonely, and sadly, they can be life-threatening 💔 .
Much more needs to be done to support people, raise awareness and make sure nobody feels they have to face it alone!
So, this November, I'm taking on 30 Miles in November for Mental Health UK. November has always been a difficult time of year for me, as I really struggle with the darker, colder months and the impact they have on my mental health.
But I'm determined to get outside in the cold 🌧️🌨️🥶 , move more and challenge myself whether that's walking, jogging or hopefully even running by the end of the month! 😬
When you're struggling with your mental health, it's really easy to give up on yourself and lose motivation you used to have. But when I'm doing something for someone else or a cause I believe in, I find it much easier to keep going.
I'm hoping this challenge will give me that extra push while raising money to help others who are feeling lost or broken, too.
Maybe this November will be about finding a little light in a difficult time, doing something positive for myself (finally) and helping a cause that's incredibly close to my heart. 🥲
Mental health affects so much more than our mood.
It can impact our sleep, physical health, energy, confidence, relationships and ability to cope with everyday life.
One struggle can lead to another, making even the simplest things feel overwhelming.
It can affect anyone! m
Men, Women and Children of all ages.
Every donation helps Mental Health UK continue its work to provide support and help people understand their mental health, access resources and feel less alone.
I'd be so grateful for any donations, no matter how small, and for your support and encouragement along the way. I'll keep you all updated on my progress throughout November!
If anyone can recommend a free Android app to track my walks/jogs and miles (my phone isn't the best and I don't have a fancy fitness watch 😂), I'd really appreciate it!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for supporting me. It genuinely means a lot. 💙
Doing this for hope, healing, and everyone fighting to keep going. 💙
Fallon x
