Why I’m Running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Mental Health UK with my brother.

In April 2026, i’m taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon, alongside my brother Stuart, to raise funds for Mental Health UK, a charity that holds a very personal place in our hearts.
For as long as I can remember, mental health has been a big part of our family’s story. Several of our close family members have and still are affected by conditions such as ADHD, OCD, ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), and Asperger’s Syndrome. While they’ve grown up with love and support, the real challenges often began when it came to school and later, the workplace, stages of life where understanding and flexibility can be painfully lacking.
It’s during these times that people can easily fall into a very dark place, and that’s exactly what we want to help prevent.
Mental Health UK provides crucial support for individuals and families facing these challenges. Their work, focused on collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, is helping to change how mental health is treated and understood, and we’re proud to be part of that mission.
By running this half marathon, Stuart and I are doing more than just challenging ourselves physically, we’re helping raise awareness and vital funds for a cause that impacts so many, including those we love.
Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to a world where mental health is taken as seriously as physical health, and where no one has to struggle alone.
Thank you so much for your support. It means the world to us.
