Hackney Half Marathon for Mental Health UK
In the past few months, running has become a way to escape for me, a way of challenging myself to improve and to run further. I am taking on the Hackney Half as my next step. Running for Mental Health UK isn’t just about supporting a charity; it’s personal to me, as my father took his own life earlier this year. This has put many things into perspective and has made me want to make a change for people who are struggling. This run is my way of remembering him, and of showing others that there is always a better way.
