I'm taking on 31 Miles this August for Mental Health UK

This August, I'm taking on 31 Miles in August to raise money for Mental Health UK.

I'll be walking, running and cycling in the gym 31 miles throughout the month to help ensure more people can access the mental health support they need, when they need it most. As a sufferer of Mental heath issues myself and receiving ongoing support, I’d like to give a little back as I believe mental health really does matter, for everybody!

Every donation, no matter the size, will help Mental Health UK continue providing vital services, information and support to people across the UK.

If you're able to, I'd be so grateful if you could sponsor me. Your support will help keep me motivated throughout the challenge and make a real difference to people's lives.

Thank you so much for your support!

Hot Hot Hot 🥵 ☀️

Friday 14th Aug
Week two of the challenge is coming to a close and I have been enjoying some Menorcan sun this week on holiday! It’s been over 32 degrees every morning so I only managed a gentle jog on the first day but have done plenty of sightseeing, rock climbing and walking literally miles since then while sweating buckets! Pleased to say I have now reached the 31 miles target and currently stand at 3 miles beyond it so hoping to double the original target by the end of the month. Thank you again for your donations and here’s to many more! Benji x

Week One Almost Done!

Wednesday 5th Aug
It’s been a busy week so far since the beginning of the challenge! By some miracle, my body has managed to survive an average of 3 miles a day covered so far by doing various activities to increase the mileage! I’ve walked, ran on the treadmill in the gym and on the open roads around my local area and cycled in the gym as well so lots of positive energy boosting stuff!  For me, this challenge is inportant on a personal level, as well as raising money for a cause that is close to my heart, it is helping me find new purpose as I navigate life after my own mental health crisis last year. I had a good level of support from services that benefit from the work of charities like Mental Health Uk and I really wanted to do something to help others in similar situations. So far, donations have now reached over £130 which is an amazing achievement but there is still plenty of time to Donate! At this rate I might double the target mileage! Benji x
