Hiking for mental health
The mental health crisis has been something that has affected many people, whether that be yourself or soemone close to you. 1 in 4 people experience a mental health problem of some kind every year and 1 in 6 experience a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in ANY GIVEN WEEK.
Mental Health UK is dedicated to providing essential support and resources to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges. With a focus on collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, they are at the forefront of driving positive change within the mental health landscape.
Together, we can make a difference. Join us in fundraising for Mental Health UK and be a catalyst for change in the fight for mental wellness. Every donation, no matter how big or small, brings us one step closer to a world where mental health is treated with the same importance as physical health. Let's turn awareness into action and create a brighter future for all.
A short statement for Mental Health UK;
Mental Health UK brings together over 40 years of expertise from four national founding charity partners to improve understanding and provide vital care. Individually we are mental health experts in our respective nations. Together we are an even stronger team.
Our way of collaborating allows more people across the UK to access support for their own mental health as well as friends, family members and carers.Living with a mental health condition can affect many aspects of daily life, from your physical health to your home, your work and ability to manage money.
Every year we provide thousands of people across the UK with practical advice and information to help understand and manage their mental health. Your generous donations help Mental Health UK reach more people affected by poor mental health with advice, support and information.
Here’s how your donation could help:
- £5 could keep online resources up-to-date, so that people living with poor mental health who need support with legal problems can access our online letter templates.
- £10 could print and distribute up to 30 copies of Mental Health UK’s information guide, helping young people to learn about mental health problems and where to find help.
- £20 could hire a room for 2 hours, giving a new support group the chance to meet for the first time.
- £30 could pay for a specialist adviser to answer a call from someone living with mental health problems and offer them personalised support and advice.
- £50 could provide art materials to a support group, helping members participate in a creative activity while building new networks with their peers.
