Miles for Mental Health
We are back... and bigger than ever!
For the third year in a row, Sky are hosting the annual charity event, and we are keen for everyone to get involved! This year, we are raising money for Mental Health UK, donating 100% of money raised to their young people's programmes - Bloom, Your Resilience and Me & Money. At our very own Osterley campus, sign up and take part in a 15km walk or 10km run on Tuesday 19 May alongside the whole team!
General information
- Entry is free but we ask that you aim to raise £50 each.
- You will receive a Mental Health UK t-shirt and medal for taking part, as well as fundraising support in the run up to the day.
- Finally, join us for a celebratory BBQ afterwards on the lawn.
Your impact
100% of donations you raise will help fund vital programmes supporting young people's mental health across the nation.
Me & Money seeks to reduce young people's anxieties around money by increasing their understanding of the interconnections between money and mental health.
Your Resilience aims to fortify resilience in young people aged 14-18 and prevent the escalation of mental health challenges through prompt and tailored support in a range of settings.
- £20 could enable two young people to take part in our 8-week programme, giving them the tools they will need to manage their own mental health
- £50 could provide workshops for young people struggling with exam stress in schools
- £100 could help fund workshop delivery of our Me & Money programme, which provides vital support for young people experiencing worry about money due to the cost of living crisis, in all 4 nations of the UK
We look forward to you taking part
Why your miles matter
Mental Health UK's programmes are giving young people mental health skills for life.
"I learnt how to be a little bit more confident and how to speak up and connect with people"
Through Mental Health UK's resilience workshops, Kayne gained confidence and found it easier to connect with his peers.
