About The Event

Meeting at the Bandstand in the middle of Battersea Park, we have two waves- one at 3pm and one at 5pm (choose your wave at point of registration).

The route will be revealed a few weeks before the walk, and although it isn't guided, there will be stewards along the way ensuring you don't get lost.

You will receive a Mental Health UK t-shirt and  fundraising support pre event, and snacks and refreshments during the walk.

Join us at the end for music, food and other celebrations.

"It was an honour to walk in solidarity and together raise awareness and promote the importance of mental health. Completing the walk was rewarding in a way that helped me feel good mentally, physically and boosted my self-esteem as I felt I had a purpose in contributing to such an important movement."

The GLOW experience

Taking part in GLOW mental health charity walk means you can walk and talk with others who are passionate about mental health, and together, you’ll be helping people across the UK to better understand and manage their mental health.

We want to be one of the city’s featured sights that night, so dressing up is encouraged! Be it glow sticks, luminous face paint, fairy lights, or fun clothes.

Friendly dogs are welcome and can dress up too. Please note that those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.

At the end of the circular route, there will be a medal waiting for you, as well as fantastic memories and a well-deserved feeling of achievement that will last a lifetime.
