Every year 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem. There are many ways to overcome this illness. And one of those ways to help protect our mental health is regular movement. Moving more can increase our energy, reduce stress and anxiety, and boost our self-esteem.
Since May is a National Mental Health month, we decided to support Mental Health UK charity and run the 31 Miles WE-Walkathon challenge to help increase awareness of the importance of mental health and to celebrate the recovery from mental illness. Our aim this time is to raise £200 or more by end of the month.
