Stepping up for Mental Health UK this August!
This August, I’m lacing up my trainers and taking on 31 miles to support Mental Health UK.
This challenge is deeply personal for me. Having experienced severe depression and understanding suicide/suicidal thoughts, I know firsthand how dark things can get, and I’ve seen the profound impact it has on friends, family, and loved ones.
I am doing this walk for myself, as a milestone in my own journey, and to help ensure that others who are struggling find the support they need before it's too late.
I wanted to challenge myself physically while doing something truly meaningful to give back. No one should have to navigate the weight of mental illness alone.
I'll be tracking my progress throughout the month, so please feel free to cheer me on! If you are able to donate, your generosity will directly help Mental Health UK deliver their vital advice, information, and life-saving support groups.
Thank you so much for standing with me.
