Friday 4th Sep Easier said than done...I know!When work is a challenge, when finances are tough, when family, friends and people you care about misunderstand, when dogs pee on the floor and cats bring home dead presents!
And we don't always understand what the triggers are...and sometimes, WE DO!
This year for me has been about improving my own mental health, regardless of the outside world. Not always easy, but something to focus on!
Sometimes successful and sometimes failing, miserably and wanting to crawl back into bed and hide!
I have learnt that exercise and a good diet can really help...as long as you have the money to spend on all the right stuff! So then you do overtime and just find you are exhausted after shift, great!!!! Cycle starts again tomorrow. Oh well!
What I have learnt this year as I slowly come off my medication, is not to give up, even when giving up seems to be the only option!
So when I apply for endless jobs and hear nothing, I have learnt to just apply for the next one and the one after that! Now I am going back to college, a direction I never saw coming!
This year has been an odd one, and the good thing is, I survived, stronger now than I ever have been.
I still have hurdles to jump, but at the same time, have many success stories too.
I just want others to get to the same place I have, or further.....
