1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year in England.
Most people struggle with their mental health at one time or another, myself included, and yet there always has and continues to be a stigma around it. It’s okay not to be okay, and everyone should have access to support and compassion when they need it. This is sadly not the case for many.
I will be joining Mental Health UK’s GLOW walk in London as one of many people hoping to spread awareness and raise money in the hopes of one day improving the options open to people who are struggling. Mental Health UK is dedicated to providing essential support and resources to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges. With a focus on collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, they are at the forefront of driving positive change within the mental health landscape. Every donation, no matter how big or small, brings us one step closer to a world where mental health is treated with the same importance as physical health.
Thank you so much for any and all support x
"But in the end, the most important thing to accept, is that no matter how alone you feel, how painful it may be, with the help of those around you, you'll get through this too." - J.D, Scrubs.
