Fundraising Update: Mental Health UK Challenge
Friday 2nd MayI’m excited to share a quick update on my ongoing fundraising challenge for Mental Health UK. I’ve officially set my goal to complete 40-50 miles through a series of walks and runs — all in support of raising awareness and vital funds for mental health support services.
So far, I’ve already made great progress and have been sharing updates in my gallery along the way. Every mile logged is a step toward breaking the stigma around mental health and making a difference for those in need of support.
A huge thank you to everyone who has encouraged, interacted or shared the cause so far — your support truly means the world.
I’ll continue to post updates as I work toward hitting (and hopefully exceeding) my mileage goal. If you’d like to get involved, support, or simply follow along, please check out the gallery and share the message.
Let’s keep the momentum going — for better mental health, together.

Why I’m Running/Walking 31 Miles This May - A Personal Challenge for Mental Health
Wednesday 30th AprThis May, I’m taking on the 31 Mile Challenge to raise money and awareness for mental health. As a Year 12 student preparing for mock exams, an aspiring barrister chasing a demanding career path, and someone from a family that has faced mental health struggles, I’ve come to understand just how important mental health is—not just in theory, but in real life, close to home.
Mental health isn’t just an issue for others. It’s something that touches all of us—quietly, persistently, and often invisibly. I’ve seen the way it can affect people you love, and I’ve felt the pressure myself: the weight of expectations, the fear of failure, and the late-night thoughts that never quite switch off. Balancing school, ambition, and well-being isn't easy, and I know I’m not alone in feeling that.
Staying active has become one of my outlets—something that clears my head, strengthens my ability, and gives me a sense of control when things feel overwhelming. Whilst I’ve been walking for a while, I’m still new to running, but it has already taught me resilience, focus, and the value of small steps—both literally and metaphorically.
That’s why I’ve committed to 31 miles this month. It’s not just a physical challenge; it’s a statement of support for everyone fighting silent battles. Every mile I run/walk is for someone who’s struggling to keep going. And every donation, no matter how small, helps ensure that vital mental health support reaches the people who need it most.
If you’re able to donate, share, or even just follow along, I’d be so grateful. Every bit of support makes a difference—not just for me on this challenge, but for the people this fundraiser will help.
Here’s to small steps, steady progress, and showing up—for ourselves and each other.
