Saturday 4th May
Happy May the 4th everyone! Apologies for the cringe! It is a lovely sunny day today and currently at 16 degrees. We treated ourselves to a Saturday morning McDonalds breakfast and a Krispy Kreme, played some PlayStation and then decided for an afternoon walk. Last night we shut our work laptops for the next two weeks while we chill out on Annual Leave. Something that I know I definitely need as I haven’t had a break from work since around September last year and I can confirm my mental health has taken a beating. I need to remember to take regular breaks from work even if I’m not going anywhere special, I still need to have a few days off to recharge. But this isn’t just me but everyone should do the same. Everyone needs some mental health days and I will be making the most of it!
