I'm taking on 31 Miles this August for Mental Health UK

This August, I'm taking on 31 Miles in August to raise money for Mental Health UK.

I'm walking, running or rolling 31 miles throughout the month to help ensure more people can access the mental health support they need, when they need it most.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help Mental Health UK continue providing vital services, information and support to people across the UK.

If you're able to, I'd be so grateful if you could sponsor me. Your support will help keep me motivated throughout the challenge and make a real difference to people's lives.

Thank you so much for your support!

Why I’m challenging myself in August.

Thursday 23rd Jul

This August, I’m challenging myself to walk 31 miles to raise awareness and support for mental health—a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.

Mental health isn’t just something I’ve heard about; it’s something that has touched my life personally. I’ve watched a close family member face battles that many people never see, and I’ve stood beside friends during some of their darkest moments. Seeing the impact mental health can have on the people you love is heartbreaking, and it has shown me just how important compassion, understanding, and support really are.

Through my work, I’ve also met people whose lives have been affected by mental health challenges. Every story is different, but they all remind me that mental health can affect anyone, regardless of age or background. No one should ever feel ashamed to ask for help or feel that they have to struggle alone.

This challenge is about more than walking 31 miles. It’s about standing up for those who are fighting silent battles every day, remembering those who have struggled, and helping to break the stigma that still surrounds mental health. If taking on this challenge helps even one person feel less alone or encourages someone to reach out for support, then every mile will be worth it.

If you’re able to support me with a donation, no matter how small, I’d be incredibly grateful. Your generosity will help fund vital mental health services and show that together, we can make a difference.

Thank you for supporting me, believing in this cause, and walking this journey with me. Every step I take is for those who need hope, understanding, and the reminder that they are never alone.
