GLOW up London with Mental Health UK
This smile is because I’ve accepted that I sometimes have low mental health but I don’t become a victim anymore
I remember all the suggestions I have been given to overcome my depression and low self worth
I gave up using alcohol and now with a less foggy brain I seem much more comfortable with who I am
Mental Illness is not uncommon and the stigma is only removed by people understanding what it really is and learning how to be compassionate
On 11 October, I’ll be lighting up London as part of GLOW – a vibrant sponsored walk shining a light on mental health. I’m proud to be supporting Mental Health UK, a charity that provides life-changing support to people across the UK affected by mental health challenges.
With your help, we can turn London’s iconic streets into a celebration of hope, strength, and solidarity. Every donation powers vital services, helplines, and resources — helping to ensure no one faces a mental health problem alone.
Let’s light the way toward a future where mental health is valued and supported. Please donate if you can — and thank you for being part of the movement.
Big up yourself Merrick!
