From Surviving to Rebuilding: My Journey Through Mental Health and ADHD

Wednesday 27th May

Last year was one of the hardest periods of my life. I struggled deeply with my mental health, and it affected many areas of my daily life in ways that people often couldn’t see from the outside.

Reaching out for help wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. I’m currently taking medication for my mental health, and more recently, I was diagnosed with ADHD. Getting that diagnosis helped me understand myself better and explained many of the challenges I’ve faced for years. I’m now starting ADHD medication as part of my journey toward functioning better and improving my quality of life.

Mental health struggles can feel isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming. But I also know how important support, understanding, and access to help can be. That’s why I’ve decided to raise money for Mental Health UK.

I want to support the incredible work they do for people who may be struggling silently, just like I was. No one should feel alone when facing mental health challenges.

This fundraiser is personal to me. It’s not only about raising money — it’s about raising awareness, encouraging conversations, and reminding others that seeking help is a strength, not a weakness.

If you’re able to donate or share this page, I’d be truly grateful. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps support people who need mental health services, guidance, and hope.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting this cause.
