Hackney Half Marathon for Mental Health UK

I’m running the Hackney Half Marathon to raise money for Mental Health UK. 

In 2025, my goal was to complete a 5k, so this year I’m kicking it up a notch and running a half marathon to push myself! I started my running journey during a very lonely and stressful period of my life, and reaching the small goals I set for myself helped boost my mood and improved my mental health. Exercise is so important to both your physical and mental health, for me it helped alleviate the stress and anxiety I was feeling and allowed me to feel strong and proud of myself. 

I am supporting Mental Health UK as I know how beneficial running can be to your wellbeing, and reaching this goal will be a massive win for me for 2026!
