Why I’m running…
Saturday 5th Jul Aged 16, I began my journey of antidepressants and therapy. Perhaps my naivety came from my young age but I thought it was a temporary thing. Fast forward almost 20 years and I’m still going. Throughout that period have been some awful lows but I’m pleased to say in recent years, more highs. My experience with managing my mental health with be lifelong, I have no doubt. I’m running for mental health UK to help raise support for others like myself who perhaps haven’t had access to the network and support I did in my worst time. I’m also running as a f*ck you to depression, you have come time and time again and tried to beat me, but you haven’t so far. And I’ll be damned if you ever do. Let’s go!
