I want to make a difference to people affected by mental health problems. Every donation, no matter how big or small, brings us one step closer to a world where mental health is treated with the same importance as physical health. Let's turn awareness into action and create a brighter future for all.
Mental Health UK is dedicated to providing essential support and resources to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges. With a focus on collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, they are at the forefront of driving positive change within the mental health landscape.

My First Half Marathon: A Dream We Ran Together
Monday 23rd FebThere was a time when I always said the same thing.
“I can’t run. My knees.”
It became my excuse. My safety net. My way of admiring runners from a distance without ever becoming one.
But my sister never accepted that story.
She would say, “You can do it.”
Not in a pushy way. In a believing way.
The kind of belief that plants a seed.
For years, running felt like something other people did. I trained. I did classes. I stayed active. But running? That felt different. That felt exposed. Hard. Mental.
Then something shifted.
Since 2023, I’ve made it a quiet tradition to run 10km on the last day of the year. A way of proving to myself that I’m stronger than the stories I tell. Each year it got a little less scary. A little more empowering.
And this year, in the city where I live, I ran my first half marathon.
Not alone.
With my sister.
