I'm Running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Mental Health UK

On 12th April, I will be taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon to help raise much‑needed funds for Mental Health UK. This is a fantastic charity that supports people in managing their mental health, offering practical advice and guidance—whether at work, at home, or at school—to help reduce stress and stay well.

I appreciate that this is a big ask during the current financial climate, but any donation, no matter how small, will help Mental Health UK continue supporting people of all ages across the country.

This support is especially important in rural communities, where keeping worries and concerns bottled up has often been the norm—but that needs to change. As Bob Hoskins famously said, “It’s good to talk” (which may be showing my age!).

For me, getting outside to run, swim, or cycle plays a huge role in maintaining my own mental health. It allows me to enjoy the beauty of nature and reminds me of the positive things in life that we should all be grateful for.

If you’re able to donate, I would be incredibly grateful for your support
