Mental health has always been a cause close to my heart. As someone who has personally faced the challenges of mental health struggles, I know how isolating and overwhelming it can feel. For a long time, I felt I struggled explaining myself and feeling understood. Today, I am grateful to be in a place where I can share my experiences openly with my loved ones. It has been a journey of emotional highs and lows, but I have found strength in my vulnerability and in the unwavering support of those around me.

This year, I am thrilled to participate in the Glow Walk London charity event for mental health. I have decided to form a team comprising my nearest and dearest—those who have stood by me through my darkest times. Together, we will walk the evening streets of London, illuminated by the glow of our commitment to mental health awareness.

This cause is especially significant to me as unfortunately many of my family members also struggle with various mental health disorders. I feel a profound responsibility to foster understanding and provide guidance, not just for them but for anyone facing similar battles. The Glow Walk offers a unique opportunity for my friends, family, and me to feel safe and relaxed, sharing our experiences while contributing to a vital cause. I am excited about the chance to walk side by side with those who have supported me, reflecting on our journeys and supporting mental health advocacy in our community.
