Running for a Cause
Hello, Eunisse here!
After completing several half marathons, I've decided to take on the challenge of not just running the London Landmarks Half Marathon, but doing so in support of Mental Health UK.
As someone who has struggled with mental health issues, running has become my safe space — a way to reflect, heal, and reconnect with my body in a positive and empowering way. My journey with running has, amongst many other things, taught me resilience and discipline, as well as the power of self-acceptance and listening to bodily cues. Every run and every step has served as a reminder that our bodies and minds are far stronger than we often realize.
Mental health is something deeply personal to me, and I believe that everyone deserves access to support, resources and hope during their most difficult times. By running for Mental Health UK, I hope to raise awareness and funds to help others find strength in their own journeys — just as running has helped me find mine.
I'm super excited to tackle the London Landmarks Half Marathon as it brings together incredible people, powerful causes, and the human spirit - all culminating in one of the most vibrant cities in the world. Running past London’s historic streets and iconic landmarks will be a reminder of how far I’ve come, both physically and mentally, and a celebration of progress, resilience, and community, but also serves as a reminder of how we can support each other while working towards a common goal.
If you'd like to contribute, remember that anything counts! Every donation, message, and word of encouragement truly means the world, thank you so much for your support <3
