I am taking part in Move it for Mental Health! Please support me and donate today.

I’m setting myself a challenge and fundraising this May. 31 miles in 31 days to help those affected by mental health - 1 in 4 according to statistics but I can imagine the number is actually way higher with alot of people not qualifying because they’re ashamed to seek help. 


Mental health has affected me for as long as I remember and the black dog has taken over my head many more times than I like to share. 

I personally find exercise such an amazing wellness tool but recently my ability to exercise has been impacted by a physical health issue and boy I’ve had to endure the toll on my mental health once again. 


I’m taking back control and setting myself this little challenge and I appreciate every penny of a donation that will go toward helping people. 


Even when you feel the most alone you are not. 

There is always someone that will care and hold your hand for as long as you need them 💜

Walking has turned to running ! WHAT! How?!

Monday 27th May
I didn’t think I’d ever be saying this but I’ve caught the running bug again. This fundraiser has literally gotten me back on feet so much so that I’ve decided to set myself the challenge of running a 5K again. I can’t quite believe my hip/leg is allowing me to run - I do think the stretching and cold bathing is helping - and I am in such a better headspace for it ! I’ve done 2 runs so far of 3KM (over half of my challenge) and am going to carry on as long as my body allows me ! Here’s to the next challenge ! 👏🏼

Ivinghoe Beacon nearly 3KM walked with a bunch of girls.

I tried a run tonight to change it up. Might feel it tomorrow, but felt good at the time ❤️👟

I have now reached and gone above my fundraising target down to all you amazing generous people so anything now is an even bigger achievement ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️👏🏼

I am so close to my target of 31 miles in 31 days. 
Thank you all for the support I have received so far. The money raised is really going to help people with their mental health. 
This has FOR SURE helped to lift me out of the hole I was in and if I’m honest if I hadn’t started this challenge I think I’d be in a very different place. I started it to help others but by chance it’s helped me too. 
I can now get out of bed in the morning (ok it’s only been a week) and function and socialise again and have a plan to self manage. 

I cannot wait to complete it (not long left!) and start my next challenge.

Another few miles to add to the bank! I’ve reached my fundraising target of £100! Wow thank you so much everybody. I didn’t even expect anyone to sponsor me at all to be honest! We did it !

11KM today & I brought some of the crew along with me today.

3hrs of sunshine, mud and getting lost with the girlies 🤣🌍🌻🥾🚶‍♀️ Another 11KM to add to the bank, fundraising for Mental Health UK. Thank you so much for everyone who has donated already. I really appreciate the support and encouragement and so will those who receive it 💜💜💜
