London Landmarks Half Marathon for Mental Health UK

I'm taking on the challenge of running a half marathon to
raise funds for Mental Health UK!
This will be a huge step for me. I’m not a runner, and the longest distance I’ve ever completed is 10k (picture for proof, I still find it hard to beleive!)— but I hope with your support I can push myself to accomplish this. The race falls on my 35th birthday, and there's no better gift you could give me than a donation to this cause.
With approximately 7.5 million people in the UK living with
a diagnosed mental illness, and an estimated one in four of us experiencing a
mental health problem every year this cause is more important than ever.
Like many others, I've experienced challenges with my mental health, but I’ve been fortunate to have a strong support network around me. I know that not everyone is so lucky, which is why ensuring access to help and resources is so important. Your support can play a key role in providing the vital services needed to make a real difference for those who are facing difficult times.
Mental Health UK is dedicated to providing essential support and resources to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges. With a focus on collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, they are at the forefront of driving positive change within the mental health landscape.

February running diaries
Friday 28th FebSo once again I may not have hit 100km this month, but I got 10km closer than I did in January! And February was packed full of achievements and milestones some highlights include:
- Running through a completely frozen Central Park during my work trip to NYC, plus two other scenic runs along the Hudson and East Rivers.
- Hitting a new personal best with a 16km run my longest distance yet!
- A casual (okay there was nothing casual about it, I HATED it) 12km run before work. Old Emily COULD NEVER!
With just five weeks to go, I know things are only going to get tougher. So if you haven’t yet, please consider sponsoring me and help keep me motivated through the hardest runs!
A huge thank you to everyone who has already supported me, you’re amazing!

100km January!
Saturday 1st FebI may have fallen short of 100km in January (managed 75km), but I’m still pretty proud! A brutal cold wiped me out for over a week, costing me two long runs, otherwise, I wouldn’t made it I’m sure!
100km in February will be even harder seeing as it’s a shorter month, and I'm starting the month off in New York (don’t worry, the running gear is packed!). But hey, I’ll give it a good go!
Every run is powered by the thought of your amazing donations (and partly the fear of not wanting to let you down…) so if you want to keep me running, keep those donations coming!
Thanks,
Em x
