Mental Health fundraiser... im on a mission to get fitter lose weight for a Good cause...Close to my heart as I have struggled with my own mental health for years.
Hi decided to do this seeing earlier this year in Feb 2026 I couldnt get help for my Mental health from local NHS and GP surgery. I had a six week wait Urgent referral to get seen by Ward 4 Mental health Dr. I jad to pay for private counselling sessions £260 from Savolings, NHS not refunding me!.As I was having a nervous breakdown friends, family and my partner of 22 years nearly Raymond very concerned on my health and wellbeing.
The Dr not listening to me on the phone. No call back from GP. Failure NHS have had friends who I have known or worked with have died to suicide as not enough support for mental Health Also veterans fought in army PTSD and suicide. Lossing their Dad's and kids brought up without their bairns. No child should endure this. The UK Government should spend more money on Mental health.
My local NHS Grampian I am very concerned they need to save £70 million pounds how much is this going to be cut from Health and social care budgets and Mental health.
