Introduction

Wednesday 30th Apr

Hi everyone my name is Chloé, I'm 24 years old and this May, I’m lacing up my walking shoes and taking on the challenge to walk 31 miles in support of Mental Health UK, a cause very close to my heart. That’s one mile for every day of the month—and every step is a step toward raising awareness, breaking stigma, and supporting the millions of people facing mental health challenges across the UK.

Mental health affects us all, whether personally or through the people we care about. The past few years have especially highlighted just how vital it is to look after our mental wellbeing. From stress and anxiety to depression and other conditions, too many people suffer in silence. That’s why I’ve decided to get moving—not just for my own mental health, but to help raise funds for a charity doing vital work across communities.

Walking is a simple but powerful act. It gives us space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect—with ourselves, nature, and others. Whether I’m walking solo, with a friend, or just soaking up the sounds of the outdoors, every mile is a reminder that small steps can lead to big changes.

I’ll be sharing updates throughout the month, and I’d love your support—whether it’s a donation, a kind word, or even joining me for a few miles. Together, we can walk toward a future where everyone has access to the mental health support they need.

Let’s make every mile matter.
