Mental health support & awareness is something that has always been close to my heart. I was very lucky when going through my own mental health struggles to have a network of help, love and resources - but this isn't the case for everyone.
Mental health awareness has, thankfully, come a very long way since I started my journey. The changes in treatment & terminology has, in my opinion, helped the cause enormous amounts, but sadly getting help isn't always accessible for everyone.
Working UK-wide, Mental Health UK deliver both national and local services that enable and empower people to understand and manage their mental health in a person-centred and empathetic way. With local service delivery and national expertise in supporting people whose lives are affected by mental health problems, Mental Health UK have been able to mark a significant footprint in the areas that deeply challenge our mental health and stability.
