Friday 31st May
I would like to thank every single one of you for donating and supporting me on my journey , I really appreciate all of you as you didn’t need to.
31 miles in May isn’t a lot but if I can help one person with our donations, that would make me happy.
Someone out there needs help and someone to guide them, which we have now supported to make happen.
I did this walk in memory of my mum who unfortunately I am unable to help but I know she was guiding me the whole way (even when it was bloody raining she made me get up and go out 🙄😂)
I hope mum would be proud of me, even if it’s only doing something so small.
My walk is now complete, I DID IT !!!!! If anyone knows me knows that I am lazy as hell so going for a walk and not using my car is a massive achievement lol
Wednesday 15th May
Safe to say even though I have been spreading out the walks, my legs are HURTING.
They are not used to doing so much exercise, they normally just move the pedals on my car 😂
We are half way through and I can say it does make me feel better once I have gone for my walk and it feels like I have achieved something with my day.
Wednesday 1st May
First day of the 31 miles and I started it off on the sea front in the sunshine ☀️🌊
It was a lovely 2 mile walk and felt like mum was along my side every step of the way.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me and donated, it really means a lot and gives me the motivation that I have people behind me egging me on. It might not sound like a lot throughout the month but if I can help any way in the slightest way I will. Majority of people suffer with mental health including myself and walking is such a good way to clear your head.
As you may be aware, I sadly lost my mum in 2022 due to her loosing her battle with mental health. For anyone that knew my mum knew that she was the life and sole of the party and had such a caring personality, however even she had demons who she fought daily.
Therefore, in memory of Alison Jepp. I am doing a fundraiser with Mental Health UK to walk 31 miles in May to help anyone who is struggling with their mental health. 💖
1 in 4 people in the UK has experienced a mental health problem. We won’t stop until everyone has the tools they need to live their best possible life.
Only just seen this. Well done you.
