It’s Mental Health Awareness week!
Monday 12th MayThis week is Mental Health Awareness Week – a powerful reminder of how important it is to check in with ourselves and each other.
The idea is simple: cover 31 miles throughout May – walking, running, cycling, or however I can – one mile for each day of the month. This challenge is a commitment to myself and to others to keep moving forward, even on tough days. It’s a way to honour those who struggle in silence and to remind everyone that it’s okay not to be okay.
Movement has always helped clear my mind and lift my mood, and I hope sharing my journey will encourage someone else to take that first step – whether it’s a mile outside, a chat with a friend, or reaching out for support.
I’ll be tracking my progress and sharing thoughts along the way.
