My name is Billy Castle, my wife, Alice, took her own life on the 20th of October 2023. Alice always struggled with her mental health, even from an early age she felt 'different' and regularly struggled to find help when she needed it most. Though surrounded by friends and family who loved and supported her, in the end, she faced her demons alone and chose to take her own life. I cannot help but think that with better access to top quality mental health services, my wife Alice, would be here with me today.
