GLOW London 2025

GLOW up London with Mental Health UK

On 11 October, I’ll be lighting up London as part of GLOW – a vibrant sponsored walk shining a light on mental health. I’m proud to be supporting Mental Health UK, a charity that provides life-changing support to people across the UK affected by mental health challenges.

With your help, we can turn London’s iconic streets into a celebration of hope, strength, and solidarity. Every donation powers vital services, helplines, and resources — helping to ensure no one faces a mental health problem alone.

Let’s light the way toward a future where mental health is valued and supported. Please donate if you can — and thank you for being part of the movement.

My Reason

Wednesday 30th Jul
If you know me then you know why this is really close to home for me.

I deal with mental health everyday weather it’s a good day or a bad day it don’t go away, it has took me a very long time to find ways to cope with this also I’m still always finding new ways to help me cope even till this day.

I have been too some really dark places, I’ve hated myself, I’ve battled with my own head, I’ve pushed everyone away, been unkind and put the people I love the most through some things that they should never of had to go through but without all the love and support from my amazing family and close friends that literally refused to leave me, refused to let me face this alone and got me the help. They helped me learn new things about myself, never judged, helped me accept that this might be a long term thing but by always being there and continuing to support me helps so much it’s so hard to explain the feeling knowing someone is there so by me raising some money to help the charity they will be able to help other people.
Feeling lonely is the worst feeling.

Never judge a book by its cover is so true as you never know what is behind the smile, behind the laugh, behind that massive front.

Your mind can be a very powerful place.

Thank you to my Sponsors
