I’m taking on 10 Miles in 10 Days for Mental Health UK

From 1–10 October, I’m taking on the 10 Miles in 10 Days challenge to celebrate World Mental Health Day and support Mental Health UK.

I’ll be moving 10 miles — whether that’s walking, running, cycling, or wheeling — and raising at least £100 to help ensure that no one faces mental health problems alone.

Every mile I cover and every pound I raise will make a difference to the lives of people affected by mental health problems.

Please support me if you can — together we can make this World Mental Health Day count. 💙 there are so many people out there affected by a range of different mental health issues and especially now in younger people and the old day-to-day life you know and because of this I am more than determined to raise vital funds to support the community and people around us to get the help they need to support their mental well-being so if you can donate, I would be delighted even just taking a look at the page and looking at my progress isn’t enough

Support so far

Sunday 21st Sep
Hi everybody, I am caitlin I do prefer to be known as Caity. I have a very rare condition called Sturge Weber  syndrome. And have so long-term with mental health issues and I just want to thank everybody so far that has donated to me for doing this even before I’ve started. I’m very excited to do this and to raise awareness. Horrible horrible thing of mental health and unfortunately a lot of people out there are too scared to ask for help and to reach out and I’ve noticed a lot at the moment that there’s so many people that are afraid to reach out because they feel they’re gonna be judged and you know there’s a lot of things going around about how the cost of living and the changing of the living environment is at the moment and unfortunately, I’ve also learned there is a high number of young people and the old  generation and we need to raise awareness of mental health
